Sculptural Speaker
2025 - 3D printed sand
Dimentions: h35 x 25 x 25 cm
A pair of specular speakers created to complete “The Singing Stone”.
Designed through a parametric modelling process, their forms draw direct inspiration from the original sculpture, establishing a visual and conceptual dialogue with it.
Mounted on two logs used as pedestals, the speakers are 3D printed in sand, creating a material and formal continuity with the accompanying artwork.
The internal components are sourced from JBL speakers, ensuring a high standard of sound quality while preserving the project's sculptural and aesthetic integrity.
This speaker marks the beginning of an ongoing research that I intend to develop further, with the aim of creating objects that genuinely bridge the language of art and sculpture with that of functional design.
