The First Singing Stone
2025 - Evolution of the first stone, musical component added
“La Prima Pietra” (The First Stone) is not just a work to be observed, it is a sensory experience that invites touch, listening, and discovery.
The audience becomes an active part of a dialogue between matter and sound.
As I carved it, I realized that the first stone was not just a rock, but something much more: a soul. In working with it, I heard its natural voice, and I felt the need to share it with the world. This revelation profoundly changed my perception, inspiring me to give it a new name. Now, it is "The First Singing Stone”.
By gently touching its surface, one can perceive the hidden voice of the stone, amplified through speakers that reveal its natural sound, making it audible to all.
A primordial echo, an ancestral pulse, transforming the sculpture into a bridge between the visible and the invisible, the tangible and the intangible.

Once connected, you can save time by updating your content straight from your collection—no need to open the Editor, or mess with your design.
Add any type of content to your collection, such as rich text, images, videos and more, or upload a CSV file. You can also collect and store information from your site visitors using input elements like custom forms and fields. Collaborate on your content across teams by assigning permissions setting custom permissions for every collection.
Be sure to click Sync after making changes in a collection, so visitors can see your newest content on your live site. Preview your site to check that all your elements are displaying content from the right collection fields. Ready to publish? Simply click Publish in the top right of the Editor and your changes will appear live.

Io ho guidato la mano.
Ho inciso nel mondo tutto ciò che non sapeva dirsi.
Nessun dio mi ha mai protetta, ma io ho reso immortali più corpi di quanti ne abbiano salvati tutti gli dèi.
Ho ispirato l’idea prima ancora che fosse forma.
E nell’atto, ho scolpito l’eterno.”
🏛️ Nel mondo antico non esisteva una Musa per le arti visive. 𝐓𝐞̀𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐞̄ in greco indicava il sapere del fare: ciò che è costruito, appreso, eseguito. Era associata all’abilità, non all’ispirazione. Al mezzo, non alla visione.
Questo concept nasce da una ricerca sull’assenza di questa figura nella mitologia e dalla volontà di personificarla, di darle vita :
Tèchnē non esisteva tra le Muse perché era colei più vicina agli uomini.
Non viveva sui Monti Sacri, ma nelle botteghe, nel sudore degli scultori, nei pigmenti dei pittori, nel fuoco degli artigiani.
E se un’immagine ha attraversato il tempo è perché lei ha operato; persino gli dei hanno avuto bisogno di Tèchnē per avere un volto.

We are pleased to invite you to Forme Uniche, an exhibition that will present a selection of sculptures and design works by Nina Songhori and sculptures by Ludovico Graziano. The event will be held on December 4th at Fabbrica del Vapore, Archivio Viafarini, starting at 6:00 pm, and will be accompanied by an aperitif for a moment of meeting and conviviality.
