Primordial Flame embodies an ancient essence, a primal energy that burns beyond time itself.
The five sister sculptures originate from the same clay matrix, yet their evolution has made each one unique. Transformed first into wax and then into bronze, they share only their root and meaning.
A symbol of the creative fire that gives rise to all things, this flame exists before form itself: an elemental impulse that breathes life into the soul and ignites the future.
An eternal spark within each of us, ever ancient, yet ever new.
Project evolution
Humans are three-dimensional creatures who, through intellect, are able to exert a limited influence over the fourth dimension.
We are among the rare animals capable of understanding the link between action and consequence, drawing on past experience and observing the present to anticipate the future.
Yet we are not entirely in command of our own dimension: we remain subject to greater laws, which we strive to understand and, gradually, overcome through reason.
Still, we are masters of illusion, we’ve learnt to mimic the passage of time using sequences of still, two-dimensional images.
This peculiar merging of the second and fourth dimensions is needed to conjure an illusion of surfaces, where the mind pieces together continuity and perceives volumes, even where none truly exists.

Unique shapes
We are pleased to invite you to Forme Uniche, an exhibition that will present a selection of sculptures and design works by Nina Songhori and sculptures by Ludovico Graziano. The event will be held on December 4th at Fabbrica del Vapore, Archivio Viafarini, starting at 6:00 pm, and will be accompanied by an aperitif for a moment of meeting and conviviality.
