Vivacity

Vivacity expresses a profound joy of living.

The technique of direct carving makes it possible to imprint one's emotions into the material, while maintaining a constant dialogue with nature and with the will of the material itself.

This expressive desire was born from a strong contrast. During one of the most difficult moments of my life, I found myself searching for beauty, for light despite the darkness, for liveliness despite the oppression of the soul. This search manifested itself through forms that generate a strong sense of movement and engagement, drawing the viewer in and transforming their perception of the surrounding space.

The log supporting the sandstone is no longer a simple pedestal, but becomes an integral part of the artwork and of the space that welcomes it: a living element, in relation to the stone and capable of responding to its own motions.
